July 8, 2020 – Ulmer is pleased to announce that Paul R. Harris, Partner and Group Leader of the firm’s Business Litigation Department, has been named to the 2021 class of Leadership Cleveland by the Cleveland Leadership Center. Harris is one of 68 new members, drawn from organizations across the city of Cleveland and chosen through a competitive application process.
As Group Leader of Ulmer’s Business Litigation Department, Harris regularly manages high-stakes, complex matters for large, multinational corporations to successful outcomes. He has litigated a wide range of business and employment matters, and has extensive experience in both state and federal courts in and outside of Ohio. Harris has been named to the Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Stars list every year since 2010, recognized as a “Future Star” by Benchmark Litigation in 2019 and 2020, and named to Benchmark Litigation’s Under 40 Hot List for three consecutive years.
Harris recently served as President of the St. Ignatius High School Alumni Executive Council, and he is also involved in the community as a member of the Board of Trustees for Lutheran Hospital and a member of the Associate Board of Boys Hope Girls Hope of Northeastern Ohio.
The Leadership Cleveland program runs 10 months and challenges senior-level leaders to act on pressing community issues. The program provides unique and meaningful opportunities for conversations and experiences that build knowledge, skills and relationships. Participants learn about the community and explore how collaborative leadership is critical to Northeast Ohio’s current and future success.
