Ulmer Partner Dolores Garcia Prignitz Elected to SPACES Board of Directors

June 9, 2021 – Ulmer & Berne LLP is pleased to announce that Partner Dolores (Lola) Garcia Prignitz has been elected to the Board of Directors of SPACES, a nonprofit artist-driven gallery and art incubator in Cleveland’s Ohio City neighborhood. In this new role, Garcia Prignitz will assist the organization in its mission of serving as a resource and public forum for artists who explore and experiment.

Garcia Prignitz is a dedicated trial lawyer who handles complex commercial litigation matters. She counsels business clients both before and after litigation arises on wide-ranging issues involving business disputes, commercial contract interpretation, and compliance issues. She has represented large and small organizations, including financial institutions, real estate developers, health care facilities and providers, and manufacturers, in state and federal courts. A former Assistant United States Attorney, Garcia Prignitz also has extensive experience with litigation involving various state and federal statutes regulating business conduct and competition.

In addition to her practice, Garcia Prignitz is involved with the Norman S. Minor Bar Association, having previously served as its Vice President and Treasurer, and is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee. She has also served as a Board Member of the Near West Family Network, a volunteer-led organization of people who live in the near west and downtown neighborhoods of Cleveland that works to help the community thrive. Recognized for her talent, she has been named to the Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Stars list and to AmMore Consulting’s list of “100+ Latinos Cleveland Must Know.”
