February 10, 2023 – Ulmer & Berne LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Nathan L. Wiedemann to the firm’s growing New York office as Counsel. Wiedemann focuses his practice on banking and commercial finance matters.

Landman, Partner-in-Charge of Ulmer’s New York office. “Nathan has significant experience in banking and commercial finance, and we are excited to welcome such an accomplished attorney to the firm.”
In his practice, Wiedemann has substantial experience representing financial institutions, funds, publicly traded and privately held companies, nonprofit and government organizations, and individuals in connection with finance, real estate, and general business transactions. This includes domestic and international transactions, transactions involving debt and equity issuance, asset and real estate purchases and sales, mergers and acquisitions, ISDAs, ESOPs, and transactions for companies in regulated industries such as health care and long-term care, communications, insurance, and aviation. He has significant experience structuring, documenting, and negotiating various types of loan transactions, including single and syndicated multi-lender, senior secured, senior unsecured, asset based, second lien, and subordinated credit facilities.
Wiedemann received his B.S., summa cum laude, in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Baltimore and his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He also served in the United States Coast Guard for four years. Currently, Wiedemann is admitted to practice in Ohio and Florida only.
