Ulmer Expands its Respected Real Estate Practice With the Addition of Two Experienced Associates

Ulmer & Berne LLP is proud to expand its nationally recognized Real Estate Practice Group with the addition of two skilled real estate attorneys. Associates Raymond D. Seiler and Steven P. Larson joined the firm’s Cleveland office in September, and bring with them years of experience assisting clients with the resolution of complex real estate matters.

“We are pleased that Raymond and Steven have joined our dedicated team of attorneys,” said Mary Forbes Lovett, chair of Ulmer’s Real Estate Practice Group. “Every day we provide valuable counsel to clients facing challenging real estate issues, and the addition of Raymond and Steven to our practice enhances Ulmer’s broad scope of talent and expertise.”

Seiler is an accomplished real estate attorney with special understanding of oil, gas, and mineral issues. He has wide-ranging experience representing individuals, small and midsize businesses, private equity firms, developers, and financial institutions in all phases of commercial real estate leasing, acquisition, disposition, management, development, and financing. He received his undergraduate degree cum laude from Ohio University, and is a graduate of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.

Larson is a talented real estate attorney and certified public accountant. In his practice, he provides strategic counsel to clients on complex real estate, financing, and tax issues. His prior experience working as a CPA helped him to gain experience in tax compliance and partnership tax, giving him unusual insight into structuring operating agreements as well as avoiding negative tax implications for his clients. Through the combination of his legal and tax experience, Larson is uniquely qualified to plan and implement complex real estate transactions. He received his undergraduate degree summa cum laude from Kent State University, and is a graduate of the Cleveland State University Cleveland-Marshall School of Law, where he served as executive editor of the Cleveland State Law Review.

Ulmer’s real estate attorneys offer a comprehensive range of real estate services to clients across the United States. The firm’s Real Estate Practice Group is listed in national publications such as Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business and U.S. News – Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms.”
