June 3, 2022 – Ulmer & Berne LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Associate Brett J. Geschke to the firm’s Chicago office where he joins the firm’s nationally recognized Business Litigation Practice Group.
Geschke is an experienced commercial litigator who has tried multiple cases to verdict and assists clients with wide-ranging issues involving business disputes, commercial contract interpretation, and more. He has represented a diverse set of clients from individuals and businesses to national hotel chains and global retail companies. He has substantial experience in cases involving personal injury and property damage that stem from faulty products, workplace accidents, and premises liability incidents. He also assists with securities and commodities litigation, intellectual property litigation, and class action matters.

Geschke is extensively involved in the community, serving on the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital Young Associates Board, on the Chicago Area Runners Association Board of Directors, and the Juvenile Protective Association Board of Directors. He is also actively involved with the Chicago Bar Association as the Chair of its Law & Debate Club, and recently completed his term as the Associate Board President for the Chicago Public Library Foundation. He earned his undergraduate degree with honors from Oakland University and his J.D. with honors from University of Notre Dame Law School.
