Ulmer Bolsters Tax and Financial Services Practices with Two New Hires

June 9, 2023 – Ulmer & Berne LLP is pleased to announce the addition of two attorneys to the firm’s Cleveland office. Giulia M. Di Cenzo joins the Tax Practice Group, and Javier Ignacio Gomez Jacome joins the Financial Services & Securities Litigation Practice Group. Both Di Cenzo and Gomez Jacome join the firm as Associates.

Di Cenzo advises clients operating in a broad range of industries on federal, state, and local taxation issues. She focuses her practice on multiple areas including the planning and tax consequences involved in closely held business services, business succession and estate planning, and mergers and acquisitions. Di Cenzo earned her undergraduate degree from Ohio University and her J.D. from Cleveland State University College of Law.

Gomez Jacome focuses his practice on representing financial institutions, investment advisers, and broker-dealers in litigation matters. He also has experience representing clients in a variety of civil litigation matters in federal and state court, including declaratory judgment proceedings, appeals of administrative body decisions, and general commercial litigation. Gomez Jacome earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
