BTI Consulting Group identifies Ulmer & Berne LLP as a firm that is recommended first to peers and colleagues without prompting in its newly released BTI Brand Elite 2017: Client Perceptions of the Best-Branded Law Firms. BTI’s research also found that corporate counsel name Ulmer as a firm that takes an innovative approach to creating value for clients.
“We’ve experienced tremendous growth recently, but we never lose sight of our goal to make every client feel like they are our only client,” said Ulmer’s Managing Partner Scott P. Kadish. “This recognition from BTI is a testament to the work we continue to do to make a positive, lasting impression with every client engagement.”
BTI’s analysis measures top-of-mind recognition of law firms based on unbiased, direct feedback from 633 in-depth interviews with corporate counsel at the world’s largest organizations. During the course of one-on-one interviews conducted throughout the year, BTI surveyed clients as to which law firms they associate with distinct characteristics driving the selection, consideration, and hire of new law firms. Over the course of BTI’s interviews, Ulmer was identified in the top half of all firms recommended first to peers and colleagues without prompting.
Legal decision makers also identify Ulmer as a firm that delivers more than what clients expect. As a result, BTI named Ulmer among the 2017 “Value Drivers.” Firms in this category design, implement, and follow through on processes that add value to the overall client experience. From faster resolutions to simplifying processes, firms in this category are devoted to creating real, lasting value for clients.
