The Plain Dealer and Ohio Business Magazine Recognize Ulmer’s Work Culture
Ulmer & Berne LLP is pleased to announce that the firm has again been named one of the “Top Workplaces in Northeast Ohio” by The Plain Dealer, as well as one of the “Best Workplaces in Ohio” by Ohio Business Magazine. These awards reflect Ulmer’s dedication to creating a supportive and collegial work environment that empowers its employees.
This marks the eighth time that Ulmer has been recognized by The Plain Dealer as one of the “Top Workplaces in Northeast Ohio.” This award honors the top 150 employers in the area that create an environment and culture where workers feel respected and rewarded, and where those workers feel they can enrich their skills while contributing to a mission they believe in.
“Our collaborative work culture is part of what makes Ulmer such a special place,” said Scott P. Kadish, Managing Partner. “We strive to make Ulmer a great place to work for our dedicated attorneys and staff, and we’re incredibly proud to be recognized for cultivating a professional environment where our employees can thrive.”
Ulmer has also been named for the second time as one of the “Best Workplaces in Ohio” by Ohio Business Magazine, which recognizes workplaces where employees feel valued. Employers across the state competed for this award by providing information on topics such as company size, engagement with employees, benefit structures, and past awards.
With more than 300 attorneys and staff members, Ulmer attributes its ability to serve as a trusted advisor to its clients with finding, hiring, developing, and retaining extremely talented professionals. The firm is committed to ensuring all employees have the support they need to lead fulfilling lives inside and outside of the office, and consistently devotes resources to promoting a supportive and open culture that allows its employees to reach their full potential.
Diversity and inclusion are cornerstone values at Ulmer that promote the firm’s creative and supportive environment. The firm believes diversity in the workplace creates a balanced, more rewarding professional setting, and that a diverse workforce fosters differing approaches and ideas to better meet the needs of clients. Through the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee and Women in Law and Leadership (UB WILL) initiative, Ulmer strives to make diversity and inclusion tangible, measurable components of the firm’s daily life.
