Ulmer Attorney Mengxue Xie Elected to National Board of Directors of the Federal Bar Association Younger Lawyers Division

October 1, 2020 – Ulmer & Berne LLP is pleased to share that Mengxue Xie has been elected to the national Board of Directors of the Federal Bar Association’s (FBA) Younger Lawyers Division. Xie will serve as one of two board members representing the Sixth Circuit.

The Younger Lawyers Division is comprised of members who are 40 years of age or younger or who have been admitted to practice law for 10 years or less. As the voice of young federal practitioners nationwide, the Younger Lawyers Division is the FBA’s largest division, representing almost one fourth of the FBA’s total membership with more than 4,000 members.

Xie is an associate in the firm’s Cleveland office where she focuses her practice on product liability litigation and the defense of pharmaceutical, medical device, and mass and toxic tort claims. She represents a diverse array of clients in multidistrict, coordinated, and consolidated proceedings, as well as putative class actions and “one-off” product liability suits. She received her undergraduate degree from China University of Political Science and Law and her law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
