Ulmer Associate Emily S. Prem has been selected by the YWCA of Greater Cincinnati as a 2018 YWCA Rising Star. The Rising Star Award is given each year to a carefully selected group of women who have the qualities of outstanding performers, proven leadership skills, and the potential to attain marked achievement in their chosen careers.
Prem focuses her practice on pharmaceutical, medical device, and mass tort litigation, and eDiscovery matters. She represents pharmaceutical and medical device clients in complex litigation. Using her previous experience as a psychiatric nurse, Prem brings a broad base of practical, real-world knowledge of the medical space to her practice. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing, and her law degree from the Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law.
Rising Star Award recipients become part of a network with special access to mentoring, networking, and educational opportunities. The YWCA Academy of Career Women of Achievement created the Rising Star Award and Network in 2002 as a way to mentor and support women in pursuit of excellence in their careers.
