Two attorneys join in supporting emerging businesses and startup companies
April 18, 2022 – Ulmer & Berne LLP is pleased to announce the addition of two attorneys to the firm’s Business Law Practice Group. Joe Brammer and Fuxing (Amber) Sai join the Cincinnati office where they will focus their practices on the needs of startups, venture-backed and growth stage companies, and established businesses in a wide array of legal areas.

Brammer provides counsel on a variety of corporate transactional matters, including corporate formation, entity structure, contract negotiation and drafting, and corporate governance. He also advises startups on private offering deals, subscription credit and net-asset-value financing transactions, and other commercial agreements. In addition to his practice, Brammer serves on the Board of Directors of Wesley Chapel Mission Center, an extension ministry of the United Methodist Church that provides after school programs for children and youth. He earned his undergraduate degree with honors from The Ohio State University, and his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
Sai assists clients with corporate and tax law matters, including private equity, general corporate law, and tax implications for startup companies. She provides counsel on a range of commercial transactions and assists with private offerings, including drafting operating, shareholder, and subscription agreements. She earned her undergraduate degree from China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing, China, and her J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where she served as Managing Editor of the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
