Ulmer Adds Associate to Employee Benefits Team in Cleveland

September 9, 2022 – Ulmer & Berne LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Andrea M. Staron, who joins the firm’s Employee Benefits Practice Group as an associate in the Cleveland office. Staron focuses her practice on the establishment, qualification, and maintenance of all types of employee benefit plans.

Staron began her legal career as an appellate judicial law clerk for the Honorable Matthew Grove, Colorado Court of Appeals. Prior to attending law school, she worked for six years as a policy analyst for the White House Office of Management and Budget. She draws on her government and regulatory experience when helping clients navigate the complex web of statutes and regulations that govern employee benefit plans.

Staron is admitted to practice in Ohio and Colorado. She earned her undergraduate degree from University of Notre Dame, her Masters of Public Policy degree from University of Michigan’s School of Public Policy, and her J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law where she served as Associate Editor for the West Virginia Law Review.
