Stephen G. Nesbitt Appointed to ProKids Board of Trustees

Ulmer & Berne LLP is pleased to announce that Partner Stephen G. Nesbitt has been appointed to the Board of Trustees for ProKids, a nonprofit organization based in Cincinnati that mobilizes the community by training and supporting volunteers to break the cycle of child abuse and neglect.

ProKids’ mission is to secure safe, permanent, and nurturing homes for children in the Hamilton County, Ohio child protection system. The organization aims to create a new cycle for children of growing up safe and secure, hoping to fundamentally change the future for these children and the entire community.

In his professional career, Nesbitt counsels clients on a range of corporate law and real estate matters. He advises entrepreneurs, founders, investors, shareholders, and financiers on a full spectrum of corporate issues, including formation, entity selection, capitalization, capital structure and financing, and mergers and acquisitions. He also advises developers, sponsors, investors, lenders, and corporate clients in land acquisitions and divestitures, construction, financing, and the leasing of diverse properties. Nesbitt earned his undergraduate degree from Miami University, and his law degree from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University.
