February 3, 2020 – Ulmer & Berne LLP is pleased to share that Lori Pittman Haas, Partner and Group Leader of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group, has been named to the Midwest Real Estate News Hall of Fame, which recognizes leaders in the commercial real estate industry who have helped shape the landscapes of their cities.
Haas represents buyers and sellers in the acquisition, disposition, and development of commercial property, including convenience stores with fuel facilities, retail centers, office buildings, warehouse facilities, and mixed-used developments. She also represents clients in eminent domain cases, leasing matters, and the financing of development projects utilizing Historic Tax Credits, New Markets Tax Credits, construction financing, and conventional financing.
Using her extensive business experience, Haas evaluates complex legal issues from a management and operational perspective. In her practice, she is involved in complex real estate matters across the Midwest, and has assisted with major projects in Cleveland, Ohio, including the acquisition and financing of the 52-story historic Terminal Tower building and with complex lease structure and financing issues relating to the acquisition of the historic Halle Building.
Actively involved in the commercial real estate industry, Haas is a member and Past President of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and is a member of several bar associations. She is consistently recognized for her talent and skill by Chambers USA and is named to the Ohio Super Lawyers list and The Best Lawyers in America©. She received her undergraduate degree from Youngstown State University and her law degree from University of Akron School of Law.
