Ulmer & Berne LLP announces that Gregory P. Stein will serve as Co-Chair of the International Association of Privacy Professionals’ (IAPP) KnowledgeNet Chapter in Cleveland.
Stein is the Vice Chair of Ulmer’s Data Privacy and Information Security Practice Group. His practice focuses on information technology, technology transactions, and data security and data privacy. Stein’s experience includes licensing and cloud computing transactions, private equity transactions, and mergers and acquisitions and has advised clients about actual and suspected data breaches. He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) by the IAPP. Leveraging his significant experience in the space, Stein frequently speaks and presents on the topic of data privacy and information security at industry conferences and client events. He earned his B.A. from the University of Rochester, and his M.B.A. and J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
