Brett C. Altier Named to Cleveland Bridge Builders Class of 2020

Ulmer & Berne LLP is pleased to share that Associate Brett C. Altier has been named to the Cleveland Bridge Builders Class of 2020. Altier is part of a diverse group of professionals chosen by the Cleveland Leadership Center to participate in this highly selective 10-month leadership program.

Cleveland Bridge Builders prepares mid-career professionals for meaningful, fulfilling, and impactful engagement in the community. The program offers facilitated learning, experiential collaboration, and interactive civic education that inspires participants to take on greater roles in addressing community issues. The class will work in teams on projects to address the unique needs of local community organizations while enabling class participants to immediately apply new learned skills and approaches to civic leadership.

Altier assists clients in all aspects of real estate, energy, and environmental law, including the development, acquisition, disposition, and leasing of property. In addition to his transactional work, Altier participates in litigation to resolve a variety of complex real estate disputes, including mineral rights, title issues, and eminent domain. He received his undergraduate degree from Denison University and his law degree with honors from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University.

The Cleveland Bridge Builders Class of 2020 program will begin with a retreat this September and will conclude with commencement in June next year, which coincides with the 20th anniversary of the program. Graduates become part of a network of more than 8,700 alums of Cleveland Leadership Center programs who are committed to making positive change in the region.
