On Thursday, April 18, Ulmer Attorney Daniela Paez hosted a one-hour webinar and discussion on some of the key defenses that are available to trustees in fiduciary litigation.

In the webinar, Daniela outlined defense strategies available to trustees against claims brought by beneficiaries. The discussion included an overview of the statute of limitations, exculpatory clauses, ratification, release, and consent, each of which are available and set forth in straightforward provisions of the Ohio Trust Code. She also shared case studies, strategies, practice tips, and other considerations.
