Ulmer Continues to Grow Financial Services Litigation Practice with New Associate Hire

Ulmer & Berne LLP is pleased to announce that Shipra K. Rege has joined the firm’s Cleveland office, reinforcing Ulmer’s highly ranked Financial Services & Securities Litigation Practice Group.

Shipra represents broker-dealers, financial advisors, and individuals in a variety of securities industry-related actions, including investigations brought by FINRA and the SEC. She also advises clients on other business litigation matters, including contract disputes, enforcement of non-competition and confidentiality agreements, real estate disputes, and business tort claims.

“Shipra’s financial industry experience, litigation prowess, and business acumen will be tremendously valuable to our clients,” said Frances Floriano Goins, Co-Chair of Ulmer’s Financial Services & Securities Litigation Practice Group. “Many of the nation’s major corporations, banks, and financial services firms look to Ulmer to help navigate regulatory proceedings, consumer, and commercial disputes. Our team is strategically expanding to continue to deliver unparalleled client service.”

The addition further enhances the firm’s sterling reputation as a preeminent litigation practice. Ulmer’s Litigation Department, comprised of more than 90 attorneys, has been named “Ohio Firm of the Year” by Benchmark Litigation for the third time – an unprecedented accomplishment.

“I am excited to join Ulmer, a firm known for its financial and securities industry savvy and client focus,” said Shipra. “Given the present regulatory climate, clients are looking for comprehensive business counsel and industry expertise, and I look forward to delivering exactly that at Ulmer.”
