Ulmer Adds Associate to its Respected Financial Services Team

June 15, 2020 – Ulmer & Berne LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Hugh Dolisca to the firm’s Boca Raton office, where he joins the Financial Services and Securities Litigation Practice Group. Dolisca will focus his practice on the representation of clients in the financial services industry, including broker-dealers, investment advisors, financial advisory firms, and banks.

In his practice, Dolisca will provide regulatory compliance counseling and defend clients in regulatory investigations and enforcement actions brought by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC), and state securities commissions, as well as lawsuits and arbitrations brought by customers and investors.

He has litigated cases as lead and co-lead counsel in federal and state court, having previously worked with the Consumer Protection Division of the Florida Office of the Attorney General, the Division of Securities of the Florida Office of Financial Regulation, and the Office of the General Counsel of the Florida Department of Financial Services.

Dolisca is a member of the Craig S. Barnard Inn of Court and the Palm Beach County Bar Association. He received his undergraduate degree from Florida State University, his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Florida, and his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he served as Associate Editor of the Journal of Technology Law & Policy.
