We are currently seeking a full-time General Services employee in our downtown Cleveland office. The role of General Services involves handling mail that is coming into and leaving the firm including interoffice communications routed through each office’s mailrooms. The role of General Services is to accept incoming mail and then process, sort, and deliver it to the proper recipients. This also includes sorting and maintaining mailroom supply inventories. The position is in charge of outgoing mail by preparing it for shipment, as well as logging and distributing overnight packages. General Services will operate mailroom equipment, including postage meters, mail sorting machines, scanners, mail sealers, envelope openers, fold-and-insert machines, and labeling machines.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma with at least 3-5 years’ experience working in a general services role. Experience working within a law firm or service industry is preferred. Position requires strong customer service skills as well as it does require organizational skills and attention to detail that can be valuable in almost any career.
