Matt focuses his practice on the representation of private and publicly held companies in a variety of corporate law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, finance transactions, business entity formation and restructuring, corporate governance, contracts, business succession planning, and general corporate matters. Before entering the practice of law, Matt worked in banking and as a management consultant focusing on areas such as corporate finance, treasury management, risk management, and asset valuation, which helps him identify, understand, and efficiently address his clients’ complex concerns.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • Represents clients with respect to entity formation, general business, and other commercial matters.
  • Assists with all aspects of mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions including conducting due diligence, preparation of disclosure schedules, and drafting and negotiating ancillary documents.
  • Provides counsel on changing regulations and programs, for example, the Paycheck Protection Program, economic injury disaster loans, and other essential federal and state coronavirus protections.
