Lisa Marlo Kuhnell

Counsel

Product liability and pharmaceutical, medical device and mass tort litigation, and intellectual property are the focus of Lisa’s practice. She represents companies of all sizes in various aspects of litigation including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation. Lisa is involved in product liability litigation, and complex litigation involving pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Lisa also prepares and facilitates ongoing prosecution of patent applications at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and coordinates the filing and prosecution of PCT and foreign national patent applications.

Experience

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • General litigation in state and federal court, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
  • Involved in managing complex litigation for pharmaceuticals, including discovery and management of electronic evidence.
  • Counsels clients on FDA and FTC regulations on all aspects of product labeling and promotional materials.
  • Prepared and facilitated ongoing prosecution of patent applications at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and international patent applications under the Patent Cooperation Treaty.
  • Experienced and trained independent researcher in genetic techniques including polymerase chain reaction (PCR), cloning, sequencing, bacterial protein expression, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning election microscopy (SEM), and immunofluorescent microscopy.
