Jennifer J. Hageman


Jennifer has extensive experience representing medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors in both mass tort and individual product liability cases. In the medical device, pharmaceutical, and product liability arena, Jennifer has managed and litigated multi-plaintiff, multi-district litigation and individual product liability actions across the U.S. involving a wide variety of medical devices, drugs, and other health care related consumer products. She focuses on developing cost-saving and effective legal strategies for the defense and trial of multiple lawsuits in multiple venues. She creates novel ways to discover and evaluate inventories of cases and assists clients with defending against those claims through trial and appeal, and alternative dispute resolution processes where appropriate. A significant portion of Jennifer’s practice also relates to the defense of companies in employment litigation and complex business litigation. Jennifer’s employment practice consists of defending large, medium, and small-sized companies in disputes alleging claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful discharge, among others. She also counsels clients on litigations avoidance, including issues involving hiring, discipline and termination, disability accommodations, and leave issues. She is experienced in litigating complex business disputes and professional negligence claims.

After almost 20 years of the above, Jennifer is experienced in all aspects of state and federal civil litigation and has defended cases in state and federal courts throughout the U.S., and also has extensive experience resolving cases through arbitration and mediation.
