Garrett assists clients in all aspects of real estate matters and focuses his practice on the acquisition, disposition, and development of commercial property. He represents a wide variety of clients in commercial real estate transactions. Garrett’s prior experience with litigating cases involving zoning appeals, deed restrictions, easement disputes, housing discrimination, and other real estate-related claims gives him a unique perspective when handling commercial transactions.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • Drafts and negotiates a wide range of documents including purchase and sale agreements, deeds, mortgages, conveyance contracts, lease agreements, Article 9 secured loans, and other instruments involving real estate.
  • Previously litigated cases involving zoning appeals, deed restrictions, easement disputes, housing discrimination claims, and construction defect claims.
  • Experience filing and overseeing property tax appeals, assisting with community dispute resolution, and providing guidance on corporate governance, zoning appeals, and homeowner’s association issues.
  • Researches and analyzes real estate law and regulations to provide legal advice and recommendations to clients.
