Elchanan G. (Chuni) Stern


Elchanan focuses his practice on the resolution of complex business disputes and works to protect the interests of health care clients involved in commercial litigation. A former Assistant Prosecutor for the Ashtabula County Prosecutor’s Office, he has experience with all aspects of the litigation process and is prepared to assist clients with their business litigation needs.

  • Assists with the review and summary of discovery documents, and drafts and responds to discovery requests, including requests for production of documents, requests for admissions, and interrogatories.
  • Analyzes cases and prepares preliminary evaluations of client exposure and potential liability.
  • Conducts legal research and drafts memoranda analyzing a broad range of complex legal issues.
  • Assists with the management of case files from client intake through settlement or trial.
  • Previously served as a Judicial Extern to Judge Dan Aaron Polster of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
