Ava’s practice focuses on intellectual property litigation including the resolution of patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, unfair competition, and data security disputes. She also assists with other complex litigation including business and product liability matters.

  • Researches and prepares various litigation filings, including dispositive motions, memoranda in support, and other documents.
  • Assists with the review and summary of discovery documents, and prepares and responds to discovery requests, including requests for production of documents, requests for admissions, and interrogatories.
  • Conducts legal research and prepares memoranda on a variety of intellectual property issues, including copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, and data protection.
  • Served as an extern for Magistrate Judge Sharon L. Ovington of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
