Alec retired in 2021 after 40 years with Ulmer. A seasoned business litigator, he represented manufacturers and distributors in contract and commercial disputes. He has achieved the highest ranking, AV Preeminent®, from Martindale-Hubbell®, been named to the Ohio Super Lawyers list and The Best Lawyers in America©, and was named a “Top Lawyer” by Columbus C.E.O. Magazine. He also had significant trial experience in the areas of fire litigation, subrogation and insurance matters and was a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI). He served as Partner-in-Charge of the Columbus office for 30 years.
