CLEVELAND (June 11, 2010) — Ulmer & Berne LLP announced today that Michael N. Ungar has been elected President of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (CMBA) effective June 4, 2010.  He will serve in this position for a one-year term.  He has served in various leadership roles for the CMBA and the former Cleveland Bar Association for over a decade.

As an attorney with Ulmer & Berne, Mr. Ungar chairs the Firm’s Litigation Department and is a former member of its Management Committee.  For two years in a row, he was recognized by his peers as one of the Top 10 attorneys in Ohio.  His national business litigation practice encompasses a broad range of general business disputes, with a focus on commercial, banking, securities and broker-dealer matters, including arbitrations, class actions and other types of complex litigation.  Mr. Ungar also frequently serves as a mediator and arbitrator in business disputes.
