Ulmer & Berne Adds Three New Attorneys to Ohio Offices

CLEVELAND (July 21, 2010) — Ulmer & Berne LLP announced today the addition of three new attorneys to the Firm. Frederick M. Erny joins the Firm’s Cincinnati office as a partner in its Product Liability practice, while Alyson A. Terrell (Columbus) and Corey N. Thrush (Cleveland) both join the Firm
as associates

Frederick M. Erny joins the Firm as a partner in its Cincinnati office, focusing on product liability litigation with an emphasis on the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, as well as a wide range of civil, trust and mass tort litigation. Formerly a partner with Dinsmore & Shohl, Fred received his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh. He also has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America. 

Alyson A. Terrell joins the Firm’s Columbus office as an associate in its Business Litigation practice. Prior to joining Ulmer & Berne, Alyson acted as assistant attorney general in the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, served as a summer associate at Chester, Willcox & Saxbe and worked as a legal assistant and paralegal at Phillip M. Collins & Associates. She earned her J.D. from Capital University Law School and a B.A. in communications from The Ohio State University. 

Corey N. Thrush joins the Firm’s Cleveland office as a general assignment associate. Corey has worked as a law clerk for Meyers Roman Friedberg & Lewis, served as a research assistant for the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and was named managing editor of the Cleveland State Law Review.
She received her J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and a B.F.A. in Ceramics from the Cleveland Institute of Art.
