CLEVELAND (January 8, 2007) – Ulmer & Berne LLP, a major Ohio-based law firm with four offices throughout the Midwest, announced today that 34 of its attorneys have been selected as Ohio Super Lawyers for 2007. Michael N. Ungar received special recognition as one of the Top 10 attorneys in the state of Ohio for his business litigation work. Three other Ulmer & Berne attorneys, Thomas H. Barnard, Marvin L. Karp, and Frederick N. Widen were recognized as Top 100 attorneys in the state of Ohio and Top 50 attorneys in Cleveland. Stephanie Dutchess Trudeau was recognized as one of the Top 50 women attorneys in the state of Ohio and one of the Top 25 women attorneys in Cleveland. 

The annual statewide list will be published in the January 2007 issue of Cincinnati Magazine, Northern Ohio Live magazine and in Ohio Super Lawyers magazine. Ohio Super Lawyers showcases outstanding lawyers in Ohio who are recognized by their peers for their professional achievements. Only five percent of Ohio lawyers are chosen as Ohio Super Lawyers.

In selecting this year’s group of honorees, Law & Politics asked the state’s legal professionals to nominate exceptional attorneys in their own profession. In order to be selected, attorneys must have received nominations from outside their firms and have practiced law for a minimum of five years.
