Pro Bono

There are many good reasons to do pro bono work. Ulmer & Berne understands that doing work “for the public good” helps the entire community. As an active member in each of its communities, the Firm recognizes the responsibility to help those in need by providing legal counsel and representation for clients who otherwise could not afford it. We encourage our attorneys to accept a variety of pro bono cases as part of their practices, which allows them to pursue cases that serve their own personal values and philanthropic goals, as well as create opportunities to affect change and encourage progress in our communities. In 2010, the offices of Ulmer & Berne dedicated more than 5,600 hours through pro bono work and community outreach.
