Commitment to Technology

Ulmer & Berne continually invests in cutting-edge technology that enables us to effectively and efficiently communicate with our local, regional, national and international clients. We use a variety of technological services, including Web meetings, webcasts, teleconferencing and a phone/e-mail system with IP phone technology, to seamlessly communicate with clients.

  1. Extranet. We provide clients with access to a secure extranet site to manage matter documents from any Internet connection. Our matter management tools can be easily customized to meet our clients’ unique needs.
  2. Document Management. We can access documents from any one of our offices and perform complex word searches across the entire document library. This allows us to form client teams defined by staff qualifications, not location, and leverage our knowledge and experience.
  3. Disaster Recovery. Our work product is maintained at a remote location, which is "live" on our wide area network. In the event of a crisis, we can make available over the network the entire contents of any office at the flip of a switch.
  4. Electronic Billing Systems. We work with a variety of third-party service providers to offer and support electronic billing for clients who prefer paperless billing.
