At a Glance

Kate focuses on defense and civil litigation, with particular emphasis on representing regional private, public and non-profit businesses in claims involving securities fraud, breach of fiduciary duties, employer-related matters, malpractice, negligence, and consumer fraud. 

Kate also advises and represents public and private schools and educational associations on a wide variety of school law issues. Her education and experience as a school teacher for the deaf in Ohio, the New York City School District and
Peace Corps (1991-1993) lends a unique perspective and understanding.
