Extensive experience litigating employment-related claims in multiple forums, including: 

  • arbitration involving sex & age discrimination claims
  • bench trial concerning breach of contract claims, including covenant not to compete and anti-solicitation provisions
  • jury trial involving allegations of retaliation and wrongful discharge
  • arbitration involving "just cause" termination of high-level executive
  • first chair in jury trial involving workers compensation/asbestos-related claims.

Successfully obtained dismissal behalf of employers in multiple employment-related disputes prior to trial. 

Advises clients about compliance with state and federal statues, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Title II and Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Worker Readjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA), and Ohio Revised Code Chapter 4112.
