CLEVELAND (July 2, 2007) — Michael N. Ungar, Chair of Ulmer & Berne LLP’s Litigation Department and a member of the Firm’s Management Committee has been appointed as one of six new Trustees for the Cleveland Bar Association (CBA). Sworn in Friday, June 29 at the CBA’s annual meeting, Mr. Ungar will serve a three-year term.

Mr. Ungar was recently recognized by his peers as one of the Top 10 attorneys in Ohio. His national business litigation practice encompasses a broad range of general business disputes, with a focus on banking, securities and broker-dealer matters, including arbitrations, class actions and other types of complex litigation. He also frequently serves as a mediator and arbitrator in complex business disputes. Mr. Ungar has recently been recognized in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business in the area of litigation. According to client feedback obtained during the selection process, he is described as “a razor-sharp litigator and all-around high class guy.” Mr. Ungar also has been distinguished in Best Lawyers in America, Ohio Super Lawyers and Inside Business magazine’s list of Leading Lawyers. He received his J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 1984.
