He handles traditional labor matters for both management and union clients. Fred also defends state and federal claims based upon discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination. He has experience in arbitration proceedings and collective bargaining negotiations, as well.

Representative Experience
  • Represented a variety of clients in more than 85 unfair labor practice cases before the National Labor Relations Board.
  • Handled organizing campaigns and other facets of representation proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board.
  • Participated in numerous labor arbitrations.
  • Negotiated collective bargaining agreements.
  • Filed and defended against motions for temporary restraining order in state and federal court regarding picketing, handbilling and other types of demonstrations.
  • Represented clients in connection with prevailing wage complaints and investigations under state and federal law.
  • Handled actions to enforce and vacate arbitration awards under Section 301 of the Labor-Management Relations Act.
  • Represented various parties, including Taft-Hartley funds, in connection with actions involving fringe benefit contributions under Section 301 of the Labor-Management Relations Act and ERISA.
  • Filed and defended against lawsuits involving breach of a collective bargaining agreement.
  • Successfully litigated cases in state and federal court involving discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, trade secrets and non-compete agreements.
  • Handled numerous appeals in state and federal court.
