Representative Experience
  • Experience representing public and private sector clients with employment and labor law issues throughout the entire litigation process: from initial complaint and on-site investigation, through arbitration, mediation, discovery, motion practice, jury trial, and appeal.
  • Experience defending claims arising under the U.S. Constitution, the Rehabilitation Act, the Equal Access Act, Title IX, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, the Fair Housing Act, the Railway Labor Act, the Energy Reorganization Act, the Airline Deregulation Act, the Labor Management Relations Act, and the False Claims Act. 
  • Experience defending private sector and public employers in state and federal administrative proceedings, including employment discrimination, unfair labor practice, and retaliation/whistleblower charges before EEOC, NLRB, U.S. Department of Labor, Ohio Civil Rights Commission, Ohio State Employment Relations Board, and the Illinois Human Rights Commission.
  • Experience drafting employment agreements, collective bargaining agreements, policies, and procedures; conducting in-house training; and conducting internal investigations for employers confronting a wide range of employment and labor law matters.
