• Represents business entities, developers, farmers and municipal clients in all phases of environmental compliance, permitting and litigation. Types of cases include CERCLA and NRDA claims, water enforcement and permitting cases, wetland certifications and underground storage tank issues.
• Counsel to entities subject to state and federal enforcement actions arising under the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act.
• Counsel to developers in real estate transactions to aid in all aspects of environmental due diligence and other environmental concerns and permitting issues.
• Has managed and supervised over 250 water and multi-media civil enforcement actions in various courts and administrative actions filed before the Environmental Review Appeals Commission.
• Has successfully briefed and argued ten appellate cases.

• More than four years ago, represented the Ohio Department of Natural Resources; defending the Ohio DNR before administrative tribunal, Court of Appeals, and Ohio Supreme Court; prosecution of civil injunctions before Courts of Common Pleas; and representing the Ohio DNR before the U.S. Bankruptcy and Federal Courts.
• More than four years ago, represented the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency; defending the Ohio EPA before administrative tribunals, Court of Appeals, and Ohio Supreme Court; serving as lead trial attorney in the prosecution of criminal actions and civil injunctions before Courts of Common Pleas and U.S. District Courts; and representation of Ohio EPA before U.S. Bankruptcy Courts in the States of Delaware, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York.
