  • Representation of a national securities broker-dealer in defense of a lawsuit brought by an Ohio county in an attempt to recover $115 million in investment losses sustained by large pooled public investment fund.
  • Twelve years with the United States Department of Justice focusing on the investigation and prosecution of organized crime and complex fraud cases.
  • Successfully defended several national securities firms and their brokers in an arbitration hearing against claims of unsuitable investments.
  • Successfully defended a medical group from claims brought against it by a physician who was a former employee.
  • Successfully represented licensed professional in investigations and hearings by state licensing and regulatory agencies.
  • Successfully defended brokers and securities firms against claims for theft of trade secrets and breach of non-solicitation agreements in court and in arbitrations.
  • Successfully defended a major manufacturer of medical devices from claims which involved the death of a patient during surgery.
